Hey Photo Lover!
Are you a photographer (or wanna be one) in the Tucson area or a student wanting to learn some new skills? I am always looking to have "shadows" follow me on sessions, contact me for help, send me images for constructive criticism or to just talk photography. I've created this page for all you creative souls that would like some photo tips. Remember, to be creative and have fun!
In the bag...
- Keep it all together with this!
- Canon 5D Mark IV
- 85mm
- 24-70mm
- 70-200mm
- Flashpoint Xplor 600
- Flashpoin zoom TTL R2 flash
- MagMod Speedlight kit
- Laptop
- Extra Batteries
- My favorite gum
- A few bucks for parking and ice cream
Just a few creative tips...
- Try a new perspective, even with your phone...shoot low!
- Keep shooting after the pose (those are the best shots)
- PLEASE, please do not crop off hands and feet.
- If you don't have a flash, get one!
- Don't ask your family if they like your photos, they will always say yes. Find a mentor that is honest with you and willing to help you grow.
Something random...
When I was 5 yeras old I fell and busted my elbow and arm, since then I haven't been able to strighten or bend my arm fully, my arm is not very strong and my photos are ALWAYS crooked. Because of this I take just a little longer in post, I don't shoot weddings and I often use my knee as my tripod.
So what's my point???
If you love something and are passionate about it, don't hold back. Figure out a way to make it work and just do it.
